Montreal 2013 Zombie walk

This was our first zombie walk ( me and my kids) . We decided to go about 35 mins pre walk , i had been trying to convince my oldest to be on board about a week .. We all 3 of us had a blast my youngest said it was the best :)))))

Tye Dye lips

Last weekend my kids were having fun with food colorant and milk and dish soap , not as weird as it may sound. Its a experiment we found in a kids science book. They were having so much fun i got inspired to attempt to Tye Dye t-shirts with them . So we each grab a white piece of clothing out of our closets and made a big messy mess in the kitchen , a 5 year old a 7 year old and there no so sure what age mother a bucket and lots of food dyes :)

I later got inspired by the texture and patern in color of the shirts to create make-up looks .. i called the 1st my Homemade Tye Dye Lips..

Challenge : Create a monster-ish type of creature all freestyle ( no plan)

This one was harder for me , i normally plan most of my steps ahead .

 1. I simply used ripped up tissues and liquid latex applied randomly on my face to create texture and 3d . kind of went with where it would fall and stick.

2. Started painting , starting to give myself a direction .

3. Darkening shadows. Adding lusty gel (like k.y) over fleshy areas to create effect .
